Emaar Properties, the leading real estate developer in the Middle East, has decided to establish a new company – Emaar Palestine – in the Palestinian Authority.
This follows discussions held in Ramallah last week between Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Ahmed Qorei with Emaar chairman Mohamed Ali Alabbar. The meeting was attended by a range of businessmen and officials invited by the Authority to discuss plans to build infrastructure as well as mixed use residential and commercial developments in Palestine.
