HP has confirmed its leadership in the Tablet PC market in the Middle East and Africa. Results are based on the release of Canalys figures for the first quarter of 2003
HP’s Tablet PC TC1000 captured a 61 percent of the region’s market share. Lagging behind was the next competitor at 33.6 percent market share. Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) figures for tablet PCs show a 67 percent market share for HP, with closest competitor following at 16 percent.
HP is a provider of products, technologies, solutions and services to consumers and businesses. The company’s offering span IT infrastructure, personal computing and access devices, global services and imaging and printing.
