HSBC open day for UAE Nationals
HSBC will host its second Open Day on October 7 for United Arab Emirate (UAE) nationals to learn about career opportunities with the bank. The event will be held at the Al-Bustan Rotanna Hotel, Dubai.
The open day provides young and experienced UAE nationals the opportunity to learn about various areas of the bank's business including personal banking, corporate banking, financial planning, information technology, sales and marketing in addition to general banking. Participants will be given the chance to meet managers and staff who will advise them on their experience with HSBC and the opportunities available for a fulfilling career.
Currently more than 29 percent of HSBC's employees are UAE nationals. Earlier this year, HSBC was once again recognized as the leading foreign bank in the UAE for employment and training of nationals in the banking sector at the National Career Exhibition for Banking and Financial Sector. In 1999 and 2000 the bank was similarly recognized for its role in developing careers for nationals, and has been similarly recognized for its efforts at the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) level.
