Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (Jafza), which is owned by the Dubai government, has recently raised the rent of staff accommodation by 43 per cent, Gulf News reported on Wednesday. The daily added the move comes despite a 15 per cent rent cap ordered by General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Defence Minister, a few week ago.
