Jordanian health minister to visit in Algeria

Jordan's Minister of Health Saeed Darwazeh will discuss with his Algerian counterpart amending the agreement signed between the two countries to expand the process of treating Algerian patients at Jordanian hospitals and establishing joint projects in the pharmaceutical field.

During a visit to Algeria that starts on Monday accompanied by President of the Jordanian Pharmaceutical Producers Association Dr. Adnan Badwan, the minister will discuss contracts between the Algerian health ministry and Jordanian hospitals in fields related to ophthalmology, cancer, cardiovascular and kidney diseases.

According to Petra, the Jordanian delegation will propose the possibility of establishing Jordanian-Algerian hospitals in Algeria, facilitating the process of registering Jordanian pharmaceuticals and establishing joint pharmaceutical industries.
