Kuwaiti Minister: Prices monitored

Kuwait's Minister of Industry and Commerce Falah Al-Hajri has said his department was monitoring prices of goods and services and there was no fear of sudden hikes in price specifically of staple food during the holy month of Ramadan. "Staff from the ministry are compiling a list of prices on a daily basis and throughout Kuwait," the minister was quoted as saying by Kuna.

He dismissed reports that there were "artificial price rises."
