In the presence of Libya's Secretary of General People's Committee and the Secretary of Economy and Trade, the third meeting regarding the joining of Libya to the World Trade Organization (WTO) took place in Tripoli Saturday.
The meeting focused on the follow up of the reports by different sectors regarding the joining to the WTO. The two sides discussed the need of adopting a general strategy to be used during the negotiations.
Libya's Secretary of Economy and Trade has indicated that the latest meeting took place ten days ahead of the meeting of the WTO Council to study the request of Libya to join the world organization. (menareport.com)
