Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, one of the world’s largest indoor aquariums featuring over 33,000 aquatic animals managed by Emaar Retail LLC, is bringing an unprecedented opportunity for nature enthusiasts to take part in Night Safaris, from January 5 to February 29, 2012.
Visitors can get a feel of the deep, dark jungle by night within a mall environment at Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo. Strap on a headlamp and prepare go wildlife spotting and see our rainforest animals as never before. Our expert safari guides will take you on a journey of discovery with all new tours, presentations and feeds.
Several new and unique species have been added to the collection augmenting the experience. Amongst others the new additions include: Adult Carpet Python and the Amazon Tree Boas, colourful frogs like the Madagascan Day Gheko, Chinese Water Dragons and proud and impassive Iguanas.

Children can observe and discover the new creatures by night as if they were explorers in the dense and humid foliage. Experience jungle beats in an exotic and immersive atmosphere unseen before in the Emirates.
Located at The Dubai Mall, Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo is one of the largest and most diverse aquariums in the world and also features the world’s largest acrylic viewing panel. Underwater Zoo, located on Level 2 above the main Aquarium, presents the bio-diversity in different ecological zones including Rainforest, Rocky Shore and Living Ocean. The animal species also include Humboldt Penguins, Caiman Crocodiles, Piranhas, Giant Spider Crabs, Water Rats, Giant Catfish, Clown fish and Dart Frogs.
Other leisure attractions at The Dubai Mall managed by Emaar Retail include the Olympic-size Dubai Ice Rink; SEGA Republic, the region’s first and largest of its kind indoor theme park; the 22-screen Reel Cinemas; and KidZania, a unique children’s edutainment concept.
