Dubai Properties Group signs MoU for Spinneys at The Villa

Dubai Properties Group (DPG), a member of Dubai Holding, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Spinneys for the construction of a Spinneys Community Centre at The Villa, one of DPG’s residential communities, located in the DUBAILAND district.

The introduction of the new Spinneys Community Centre, which will cater to the needs of more than 2,000 residents, has been allocated a 75,000 sq. ft. plot of land in the Ponderosa area and will offer a variety of retail outlets.

Speaking about the MoU, Sahar Al Ansari, Director, Real Estate Management at DPG, said, “Our goal is to continuously enhance our communities and to provide residents with a whole host of amenities and services at convenient locations and we trust that the addition of the Spinneys Community Centre will enhance the community further.”

Patrick Lawrence, Property Manager at Spinneys, added, “The Villa is a thriving and bustling community, making it the perfect location for our new Spinneys Community Centre.”

The Community Centre will compliment the variety of existing facilities already in place. These include a playground and a nursery.

The Spinneys Centre is expected to be completed and operational within 15 months.
