NBK sponsors the Int’l Conference of the Difficulties of Learning Disorders, Hyperactivity & Attention Deficit

NBK CEO Shaikha Al Bahar receives the honoring trophy from KALD Chairwomen Amal Al Sayer in the International Conference of the Difficulties of Learning Disorders, Hyperactivity & Attention Deficit

National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) is sponsoring the International Conference of the Difficulties of Learning Disorders, Hyperactivity & Attention Deficit. The conference is held under the patronage of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah during the period 4-5 December 2011 and organized by the Kuwaiti Association for Learning Differences (KALD). 

“NBK is keen to shoulder its corporate social responsibilities,” said Shaikha Al Bahar, NBK Kuwait CEO. “NBK endeavors to share with the various governmental and public sector institutions and departments the burdens and responsibilities of broader national efforts towards social advancement”. 

Al Bahar added: “this sponsorship and support also comes in line with the vital role NBK plays in supporting all students, youths and educational issues, especially those with learning differences”. 

KALD is a social welfare association that collaboratively works towards helping students with learning differences in private schools in Kuwait. It works towards identifying and developing the capabilities of these students and supporting them academically, psychologically and socially.
