As part of its continuous support of youth and sports events in the Kingdom, PepsiCo-Jordan extended its support to the Dead Sea Ultra Marathon, which was held by Run Jordan under its banner ‘Run for a Cause’ on Friday 14 April, 2017.
The event, which urged participants to ‘run to the lowest point on Earth’, consisted of four separate races: A 50-km ultra marathon, 21-km half marathon, a 10-km fun run and a 4.2-km race for children, which occurred one week before the main event on 7 April, 2017.
As part of its sponsorship of the major event, PepsiCo-Jordan served as the Ultra Marathon’s official and exclusive source of pure drinking water. Throughout the race, which drew the participation of a large number of runners of spanning a wide range of ages and nationalities, PepsiCo-Jordan distributed its Aquafina bottled water to runners, spectators, organizers and staff.
