Qatar’s Northern Gas Field holds 25.5 trillion cubic meters reserves
Qatar’s Northern Gas Field has a proven gas reserve level 25.5 trillion cubic meters. The state-owned Qatar Petroleum Company (QPC) plans to develop these reserves in the near future, confirmed a government statement. Qatar’s natural gas resources rank third in size behind Russia and Iran. Most of Qatar’s gas is located in the North Field, making it the largest known non-associated gas field in the world.
