Bankers in the Emirate of Dubai estimated the current value of the real estate financing loans in Dubai at Dh 25-30 billion ($6.8-$8 billion). The Head of the Individuals Banking Services Department at Mashreq Bank said that the volume of the real estate loans depends on the volume of the available real estate projects for ownership in the Emirate, which is currently valued at Dh 50 billion ($13 billion).
He added that the growth level of the real estate finance market is "not limited" due to the tremendous expansion of the real estate projects in Dubai.
