Under the patronage of General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Sorouh Real Estate has launched its corporate identity and operations with the announcement of its first project - Shams Abu Dhabi, a major development located off the northern shore of the capital.
Sorouh Chairman Saeed Eid Al Ghafli said the development will provide a new focal point for the downtown of Abu Dhabi. To be completed by 2011, it will primarily have a residential focus, with approximately 90 per cent of the development devoted to housing for the estimated 100,000 people who will live and work in Shams Abu Dhabi.
