Freight provider TNT will open a depot in Kuwait, management has announced. Details of the new multi-million-dollar depot, in the Future Zone at Swheikah Port, were announced by TNT's Gulf and Saudi Arabia Managing Director, Mark Pell.

The new depot, to be officially opened in summer, will serve the rapidly-expanding market in Kuwait as well the large-scale volume in and out of Iraq when stability comes to that country, stated a company press release.

TNT Country Manager-Kuwait, Ben Roberts, says the new depot is 500 square meters and stands two storeys and employs the latest technology derived from TNT in Europe.

TNT recently opened a multi-million-dollar depot in Bahrain and moved into multi-million-dollar premises for its Middle East hub in Dubai. — (menareport.com)
