The two Arab countries of Tunisia and Jordan have reinforced their levels of economic cooperation, particularly in the fields of the environment, according to Tunisia’s official government press agency. Both countries view themselves as being among the most open economically and dynamic in the Arab world. The Jordanian minister of environment, who has just conducted a three day visit to Tunisia, confirmed the planned cooperation in a statement together with his Tunisian counterpart, Nadhir Hamada. The two ministers said they are particularly keen for cooperation on an institutional level.
