Turnover of Morocco’s ports authority up by 1.7%

Morocco’s ports authority ODEP (Office d’Exploitation des Ports) registered last year a 2,036 billion Dirham (US$ 226 million) turnover, say a 1.7% increase compared to 2002, despite a 1.5% drop in global trade, said ODEP director general, Mustapha Barroug. 

 

The executive, quoted by MAP, said the volume of exchanges made through kingdom's ports amounted to 56.14 million tons, while the number of passengers rose by 12.7%. (menareport.com)
