UAE banks posted their record performance in 2005 with total assets of local and foreign banks increasing by 42 per cent to Dh638 billion, the UAE Central Bank's annual report said, according to the Gulf News.
The assets of 46 banks in the UAE grew to Dh638.01 billion compared to Dh449.74 billion in 2004 and Dh366.90 billion in 2003, the report has indicated.
