Jotun employees volunteer to clean up industrial area as part of World Environment Day

Jotun Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom’s leading paint manufacturer, celebrated World Environment Day by making June 5th a Green Day when its employees wore “Green Day” shirts and spent the day collecting trash and cleaning up the surrounding area in the industrial area.
“With a presence of 28 years in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Jotun Paints is very much part of the community we serve and we firmly believe in being a good corporate citizen where ever we are present,” said Mr. Dave Wright, Managing Director, Jotun Saudia Co. Ltd.
Jotun is committed to environmental responsibility and the company’s employees were very keen to volunteer to participate in the Green Day clean-up campaign, which is Jotun’s contribution to World Environment Day, the annual global event that is part of the United Nations Environment Programme.
The team of employees worked in blistering heat cleaning the streets of the industrial area and showed great stamina in their efforts to contribute to a healthier society and cleaner environment.
Showing huge support for the Jotun Green Day, MODON (Saudi Industry Property Authority) expressed their appreciation of the efforts by joining hands with the company in cleaning up the area.
