UAE singer Ahlam has denied rumors that she is expecting her second child, shocked that such “lies” are circulating about her. At the time she is not thinking about having a second baby, especially since her only son “Fahed” is still very young, the singer explained.
According to the London based weekly, Laha, close sources to Ahlam have revealed that she will be singing a new duet with prominent Kuwaiti singer Nawal. The duet is written by Sheikh Sabah Al Naser and belongs to the romance genre. It is expected that the song will witness success due to the popularity both singers enjoy around the Arab world.
Ahlam has made major alterations to her new album, which has postponed its release, originally scheduled for March. For instance, Ahlam has replaced songs with ones she felt will be more desirable to her fans.
On a different note, Ahlam has denied rumors that she depends on her husband’s fortune to support her singing career and stressed that she receives a total of one million US dollars for every album she releases. The singer revealed that she has signed a contract with Alam El Phan to submit three albums, each for one million USD, and has submitted one thus far.
Ahlam semphasized that the support she receives from her husband is far from financial, but that of a loving husband who respects her career and does not interfere with her professional decisions. Ahlam added that her first priority in her life is her son, Fahed, and her husband; everything else is secondary.
