Ahlam to sing another song for Mohammad Abdo
Prominent Saudi singer Mohammad Abdo is composing an exclusive song for Ahlam for the third time “La Takool” (Don’t Say It). This is also the third time Ahlam sings one of Abdo’s original songs that were composed by him previously.
According to the Saudi based daily, Al Riyadh, the song is included in Ahlam’s latest album. The song can found in the black market sung by Abdo’s voice at an exclusive concert. Ahlam was honored by given the opportunity to sing one of Abdo’s songs saying that it’s a step upward in her career.
The talented UAE singer is now preparing for the launch of a new album in the coming months, that is expected to be a collection of songs from various composers. The songs “Skootak” (Your Silence) composed by Al Faisal, and “Qadeemah” (Old) composed by Abdullah Al Qu’ood are just two songs from her new album, which is a combination of songs by the poet So’ud Al Sharbatly.
Ahlam stated that her new album features new styles, and approaches performing her songs in a way that goes with the new trends that are occupying the Arabic music world. She also stressed that despite the new shift in style she made, it is always a point for her to stick to the Khaleeji (Gulf) theme that led to her popularity and fame.
