Ahmad Al Sakka survives deadly accident
Prominent Egyptian actor Ahmad Al Sakka was in an accident during the filming one of the outside scenes of his upcoming film “Taymour and his brother” in the Ukraine. Al Sakka revealed that while shooting an explosion scene in the Ukraine his cloths caught on fire.
The actor was able to put the fire out before it reached his flesh and burned him. Ahmad stated that he is very grateful that the accident was not as severe as it may have been if the fire did not go out.
Actress Muna Zaki costars with Ahmad in the romantic film "Taymour and Shafiqa," written by Tamer Habib, who also wrote "Love and Romance", which they had previously starred in.
Al Sakka has been holding extensive work sessions with screenwriter Midhat Al Adel and director Tareq Al Arian to prepare for his upcoming film “The Dealer”, which filming is scheduled to begin in February.
The film is based on true story about an Egyptian who had immigrated to Finland and due to unfortunate circumstances he begins to lead the life of a drug dealer.
Al Adel stated that the film reflects the lives of Egyptian youths who immigrate abroad in search of a better life; but due to the fact that they are not familiar with the country they are in, they take the wrong paths.
Actress Muna Shalabi will costar in the film alongside Ahmad and the remaining cast is yet to be decided. The film will be shot in three different countries, Turkey, Russia, and Finland.
