Ahmad Izz faces lawsuit

Director Sandra Nash'at set the first week of August to start filming her fifth movie “Mallaki Iskindiriah” starring Egyptian rising actor Ahmad Izz and female roles were given to Hanan Turk, Riham Abdel Gafour, and Nour.

The cast is being very secretive about giving out any details, but it has been revealed that the movie is a social romantic drama and discusses the relationship between the hero and three girls. Shooting of the scenes will be divided between Cairo and Alexandria and a special decoration will be done for the movie by Hamdi Abdul Rahman. The producers are Wael Abdullah and Dr Sameera Mohsen, and the script is written by Mohammed Hifzi.

It has been revealed that Izz is facing some problems with Adel Group, whom he had previously signed a contract with. Dr Mohammed Al-Adel, director of Adel Group filed a complaint against the actor demanding him to fulfill his commitment to the group and do the leading part in the movie “Walad wi Bint” (Boy and Girl) before he heads to do other movies.

Izz made his name through the world of acting after doing the movies “Sana Oula Nasb, and Hob Al-Banat”, and also after acting alongside prominent actress Yusra in the TV drama Malak Rohi.

The American Network Company Showtime, the largest television entertainment network in the Middle East, has recently signed a new long-term contract with Universal Studios that allows them to choose from any of their films or television series upon request. Showtime also has similar contracts with Paramount Pictures, Sony Columbia, Twentieth Century Fox, Warner Brothers, MGM, and Dream Works in order to offer a larger variety of shows and films for their viewers. Egyptian actress Yusra and Ahmad Izz have been chosen to be the official ambassadors for Showtime in the Middle East to advertise for their variety of films.

Yusra and Ahmad have just completed shooting a new commercial for Showtime in which the two highlight the extent of entertainment found in the different channels of Showtime, and how the network offers more films and shows than any other network.

Ahmad has denied recent circulating rumors that he has married a princess from one of the Gulf States and that her father had given him one million US dollars and a new car. The actor stressed that he cannot understand why people are spreading such rumors, especially at a point where his career is beginning to pick up and he is starting to make a name for himself in the acting world. Ahmad added that his heart is empty at this point and there isn’t anyone in it due to the fact that he is trying to focus all his attention and efforts on his acting career. –Albawaba.com
