The renowned Egyptian actor Ahmed Zaki, will begin shooting his new film Al Komisyongi (The Broker), to be directed by Samir Saif. Co-starring along with Zaki are equally renowned Yusra, Kamal al Shinnawi and Farouq al Fishawi.
According to the London based Arabic daily, Al Sharq al Awsat, Mamdouh al Laithi, the head of the production company, Cinema Agency, was quoted as saying “the film marks the second appearance for Zaki in a Cinema Agency production - the first being His Excellency the Minister.
The movie, scripted by Mahfouz Abdul Rahman, will be screened during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday - around mid December.
On another note, the Tunisian Ministry of Culture has decided to honor Zaki in this year’s upcoming Cartage Festival. This marks the second such award for the actor by the festival —Albawaba.com
