Amal Arafeh involved with a married man

Prominent Syrian actress Amal Arafeh is currently filming the scenes of her upcoming television drama “Ma Sha’ Al Hawa” (What Love Desires), directed by Zuhair Kanoo’ and written Reem Al Mashhadi.

 

According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, in the drama Amal plays the role of young lady named ‘Mada’, who falls in love with a married doctor. The doctor’s feelings for Mada become mutual and the two begin a love affair, in which Mada demands that the doctor leaves his wife to be with her only.

 

The drama also revolves around the lives of a group of college students and their lives at universities and the different obstacles they encounter. A number of prominent Syrian actors will take part in the drama like Basel Khayat, Abdul Hadi Sabagh, Carees Bashar and others.

 

Amal had previously completed recording the new duet “Dum Qalbi” (Hold My Heart) with Lebanese singer Majd Al Qassem. Majd stated that he had chosen Amal for the duet due to the romantic quality of her voice.


Amal has already begun preparations for her upcoming album, and revealed that she plans on shooting a new music video for the song “Dum Albi.”


Amal has denied circulating rumors that she has decided to devote all of her attention to writing a new television drama series. Her previous Ramadan drama, “Ishtar,” witnessed tremendous success. Amal played the leading role in the drama and personally supervised the direction and production of the series.
