Amal Hijazi dedicates new song to motherhood

Lebanese artist Amal Hijazi, who is pregnant with her first baby, is filming a new video clip for the song “Qalbi Nadalak” (My Heart Is Calling You) from her lastest album “Keef Al Qamar” (How’s The Moon).


According to the London daily Elaph, the new video clip is produced by Rotana music production and Amal appears herself in the clip where she shows her pregnancy. The director of the clip Salim Al Turk wanted to show Amal as a romantic personality in the clip.


 In the clip Amal lives a quiet and peaceful life and she persuade the way she lives through the simple décor in the mid of a beautiful nature and scenes of the sea which is where the filming took place. Amal says that even though she was supposed to look pregnant in the clip she had to make her tummy bigger.

 As for not showing a male model to join Amal in the new clip, the director Salim Al Turk said that he wanted to show the feeling of a mother who is expecting the birth of her baby.

 

 Salim Al Turks added that he did not want to bring the father into the scene. The filming of the clip lasted for one day and the airing of the clip will start by the end of January on all of Rotana music channels.
