Syrian singer Asala Nasri is in the process of preparing to film a clip for her new duet with young singer Rami Sabri. The duet will be launched as single in an album.
According to the London daily Elaph, Asala’s husband Tareq Al Aryan will be producing the new clip. Al Aryan will be producing another song from Asala’s Khaliji (Gulf) album “Sawaha Qalbi” (My Heart Did It). Asala choose two other songs from the same album to be filmed in Dubai and Turkey with her husband.
On the other hand Asala refused to renew her contract with Rotana Production Company. She refuses to be classified as a number with a production company that doesn’t distinguish between the musical talent and value of every singer that works with it.
With regards to her acting career, Asala has decided to try cinema acting for a change. For the first time in a film that will be produced by her husband Tareq Al Arayan, the famous Syrian actor Basam El Kosa will co-star with Asala.
Basam who is a very good friend with Asala has vowed to train her and give her lessons in acting. Egyptian actor Ahmad Al Saqa and Sharif Munir have been nominated for the same film.
