Bashar Al Shatti creates chaos in Kuwaiti malls

One of the most impressive participants in the talent show Star Academy, Kuwaiti Bashar Al-Shatti, was taken to a police station after taking part in a fight in one of Kuwait's malls. Bashar was in Marina Mall sitting in a coffee shop with his brother when some of his fans came to him and asked for his autograph and to have their pictures taken with him. Some guys who were sitting near him did not like what was happening and started making fun of him in front of his fans. 

 

The Kuwaiti star could not control himself and suddenly rose and punched one of the guys in the face. The young guys went to a police station and reported the incident the thing that made the police call Bashar to the station and start a legal investigation. 

 

On a different contest, Islamic Kuwaiti parliament member Waleed Tabtaba'I demanded clarifications from Kuwaiti minister of information about giving permission to Star Academy team to come to Kuwait for auditions to choose more contestants for next year's program. 

 

Endless efforts by Kuwaiti Islamist to forbid the participants of the popular show Star Academy from holding concerts in Kuwait came to a dead-end, after the Kuwait Minister of Information denied their request. The minister gave the green light for group to hold concerts and in their first performance they witnessed large of crowds of people struggling to buy tickets for the big show. 

 

Thirty-one members of parliament in addition to a group of citizens had submitted a request to ban the concert on the grounds that it went against social and religious standards at the same time officials from government demanded that the concert be held. –Albawaba.com
