Within the features of the Lebanese International Beitiddine Festival, musicians from the United States and Britain performed Friday along with an Iranian singer an international concert based on Indian cadences, according to the Lebanese press.
Experts in the original Indian cadences participated in the concert along with coordinators of CDs, drums and electronic instruments.
The Indian drum trainer Zakir Hussein, single- player of Sarangi (a multi chord curved Indian instrument that releases sounds resembling human sounds), Sultan Khan participated in the concert. Also the British composer of Indian origin Carsh Carrel joined the American musician Bill Laswil who was playing the guitar and the Iranian singer Sawsan Dhaim.
The musical feature was opened by a classical and pop musical introduction by Zakir Hussein and Sultan Khan before an audience the majority of which were young persons who swayed with the roaring electronic music emitted by playing with the CDs. This is in addition to the voice of the Iranian singer Sawsan Dhaim which was mixed with the sound of Sultan Khan in an audio coral.
