Since the start of her career, Lebanese singer Carol Samaha, has not committed to one particular production company. Recently, Samaha sent request letters to the music channel and production company Rotana to sponsor the production of her latest song “Ya Rub” (oh My God).

Carol stated that she considers herself to be very close to “Rotana” ever since she became a solo singer, meaning ever since she moved out of the Rahabani stage.

According to the Saudi daily AL Hayat, Samaha appreciates how Rotana covers all news that concerns her and every activity that she does is also covered by Rotana whether it is her songs or clips. Samaha did not say in words but there seems to be some kind of agreement between Rotana and Samaha to sponsor her all her songs. Lebanese singer Marwan Khoury is said to be the connection between the two parties, and through him, Carol is hoping to come to an agreement with the company.

Samaha worked on the song “Ya Rab” with Marwan Khoury.

The song “Ya Rab” (Oh My God) is not the first song Carol works on with Marwan. They both recorded together “Habib Qalbi” (My Beloved Heart) and “Tala’ Feyi” (Look at Me); where they were given great recognition by their fans.

The duet between the two has added a new dimension and connection between the two singers; Khoury as a composer and Samaha as a voice that’s able to sing different tones.
