Lebanese singer Carol Samaha is currently in Cairo Egypt recording the theme song for the upcoming Egyptian drama “Farah al Umdah”, marking her first experience in singing theme songs for television dramas. Carol was nominated by composer Mahmoud Tal’at, who felt she possessed the most suitable voice for the events of the drama, according to the Saudi based newspaper, Ar Riyadh.
The drama is written by Mustafa Ibrahim and stars Egyptian actress Ghada Adel, actors Salah Abdallah, Aytin Amer, Khayriyah Ahmad, Mohammad Husni, and will be directed by Ahmad Saqr.
