The famous Lebanese artist Carole Samaha participated in an episode of the music talent show for children, “Star Kids.” The episode was aired on Abu Dhabi satellite channel on 31 December.
According to the London daily Elaph, Samaha performed three of her songs with the children on the show. There were 8 child contestants from across the Arab world and each one performed a song by Samaha.
Samaha said that she enjoyed her time on the show and considers it one of the most successful children’s shows.
“There is nothing more special than putting the spotlight on little kids and showing their talents,” said Samaha, adding that it boosts their self-esteem and enables them to stand on stage with confidence.
Samaha also said that she remembered her own childhood, when she competed in a children’s music talent show. Samaha advised all children to pay attention to their school work and education first, before fame.
