Lebanese singers Wael Kfouri and Amal Hijazi had one of the most successful performances during the Carthage festival nights in Tunisia, where the two competed to gain the love and affection of the fans.
The vast majority of the audiences were girls fond of the Wael and leaving only 200 tickets for the guys out of 12,100 people who attended the concert. Amal started with her hit [Aeinak] to be followed with [Romancia] and [Ah Habibi]. The beautiful singer showed up with a breath taking white dress that dazzled the audience.
Wael was the second to star singing after Amal and was able to set the theatre on fire with enthusiasm. Wael started his concert with his hit [Bo’dek Jamr wu nar] and many other songs from his latest album.
The successful night at Carthage proved that no matter how seductive and beautiful an artist is he cannot hold a live concert if he does not have real talent.
Kfrouri recently flew to Hungary to shoot the scenes for his upcoming music video “Arrab Li” (Come Closer to Me) under the direction of director Saeed Al Marouq. The clip revolves around a marriage scene, in which Wael is being wed to a young beautiful woman.
The clip was done using the latest technology, like 16mm cinema cameras. The story of the clip is about a single father who is very wealthy but he prefers to dedicate his entire life to his son and decides not to get married again. The clip shows Wael as an old father and his son is getting married.
Director Saeed Marouq says that Wael proved to have great acting talents where he could show excellent impressions especially by his eyes. Wael expressed his great happiness with the clip watching it shortly after finishing the montage process. The clip is expected to be aired on Rotana Satellite Music Channel on the program “Awel Marra”.
Hijazi has recently announced that her upcoming album will not be produced by her production company Music Master, and shortly afterwards revealed that she had broken her contract and separated completely from the company. It was revealed that Amal’s new album will be produced by the music production Rotana, which the singer had been holding extensive negotiations with.
Amal did not deny her cooperation with Rotana, but stressed that she had not signed the contract up till now. The singer’s album is basically complete and will be ready for release by April, which will also reveal the validity of her new contract.
songs featured in the album are a mix of modern and romance sung in both the Egyptian and Lebanese accents. Amal has so far completed the recording of five songs, which are written and composed by some of the most prominent names in the music industry. – Albawaba.com
