UAE singer Ahlam is preparing for her big debut back into the spotlight after a two-year absence with a new album, and is currently in Cairo to finalize the details.
Ahlam is working closely with her production company Alam El Phan, and has made major alterations to her new album, which has postponed its release until mid-June, at the latest.
The singer has recorded twenty seven songs and will pick the best twelve for her album.
According to the London based, Elaph, the new album will feature a duet with Ahlam and prominent Kuwaiti singer Nawal. The duet, written by Sheikh Sabah Al Naser, is a love song and is expected to be a success due to the popularity both singers enjoy around the Arab world.
On a different note, Ahlam has denied rumors that she is expecting her second child, shocked that such “lies” are circulating about her. Presently, she is not considering having a second child, especially since her only son “Fahed” is still very young, the singer explained.
