David Duchovny, the former star of the surreal television series The X-Files, and his wife, actress Tea Leoni, are expecting their second child, a spokeswoman said Monday.
"The baby is due in spring," Leoni's spokeswoman Annette Wolf told AFP, declining to comment further.
Duchovny, 41, and Leoni, 35, were married in New York in 1997 and have a daughter, Madelaine, who is two and a half years old.
Leoni recently appeared on the silver screen in Jurassic Park III and last year's The Family Man, as the wife of star Nicolas Cage.
After concluding his long-running stint as FBI agent Fox Mulder in the popular science-fiction series The X-Files last season, Duchovny has turned his focus to the big screen.
He appeared in the moderately-successful Ivan Reitman comedy Evolution and will star opposite Julia Roberts in Full Frontal, the latest project of Academy Award-winning director Steven Soderbergh, who just released Oceans Eleven, also starring Roberts, with Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Carl Reiner -- AFP
