Lebanese songstress Diana Haddad has decided to cancel a tour around the US in support of the Palestinian people fighting in the Al Aqsa Intifada, reported (the) Al Sharq El Awsat newspaper.
Furthermore, according to the London based daily, Haddad has also come up with a new patriotic song, AL Haq Yuktab Min Dammi, (Rights Are Written With My Blood), scheduled to appear on the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation International (LBCI) first.
The song, which will later be distributed to all Arab satellite channels, marks the first time Haddad steers away from cooperation with her director husband, Suheil El Abdool.
However, the new director has not yet been named.
Meanwhile, the singer is getting ready to release a new batch of songs, in coordination with various Lebanese poets and composers including Joseph Juha, Michele Juha and Marwan Khoury. – Albawaba.com.
