New Arab Superstar, Jordanian Diana Karazone, is currently undergoing extensive work sessions preparing of her first album, which is scheduled to be released by the end of September. Diana's new album will feature 8 new songs sung in the Lebanese, Egyptian, and Gulf style.

According to the London based Elaph, Diana revealed that she will not be singing in the Jordanian dialect in her first album, and did not state whether she will include it in the next, simply saying it is not time for it at the moment. Diana has added that she will be visiting Jordan, but not to hold any performances rather to be with her family and friends.

The new singer announced that since the moment she won the title of Arab Superstar, she has received numerous offers to hold performances around the Arab world, a matter which she left up to her new business manager to decide on. According to the deal Diana has with her production company, she is to hold a tour around the Arab world starting with Kuwait.

The singer called on everyone to buy original copies of her new album once it is out, saying that a portion of the sales will be donated to different charitable organizations.

Ever since Jordanian singer Diana Karazone was crowned with the title Arab Superstar, she has been haunted with a number of different rumors due to the fact that she has become the hottest news around the Arab world. One of the main rumors stated that her relatives have announced disowning her from their family since she brings them dishonor by singing. Diana’s uncle Osama Karazone denied all such rumors in a phone interview made by Albawaba.

Osama stressed that the family has not disowned their daughter Diana, and on the contrary they are extremely proud of her for winning first place in Superstar. He added that if the Jordanian Royal family supported Diana and the entire Jordanian population are grateful to Diana for her accomplishment, then where would they be if they felt otherwise and rejected Diana for the mere fact that she has taken the career path of a singer?

Diana’s uncle revealed that the entire Karazone family is grateful to Diana for the success she has proved throughout the Arab world with her winning and they are more than satisfied with what has been written about Diana’s manners and voice. Osama noted that their support to their daughter will be of no less than that given by their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania.

Diana has won the title of Superstar, the popular show aired on the Lebanese satellite television channel Future, receiving 52% of 4,800,000 viewers votes, defeating her Syrian opponent Rwaida Attia. Upon winning the title, Diana received two very important phone calls, one from Jordan’s King and Queen, and the second from Lebanon’s Prime Minister Rafiq Al Hariri, both wanting to congratulate her on winning and wishing her the best of luck.

The final episode of Superstar from which the winner was chosen, enormous television screens were scattered throughout Jordan, as Jordanians waited in agony for the end of the show praying that Diana would win. The largest crowd, which was over 20 thousand, gathered in one of Amman’s elite neighborhood Abdoun to watch the live broadcast of the show. As the winner was announced, Jordanians began firing fireworks, singing in the streets and holding car parades to express their joy.

Karazone was born October 30, 1983 in Kuwait, and has recently graduate from Amman National University with a degree in Aviation Science. Her father is also a musician and has supported her throughout her upbringing, always making it a point to join her in different musical festivals. Her entire family had realized since her early childhood that she has the talent for singing and have shown full support to her and intend on continuing it in the future. –Albawaba.com
