Egyptian belly dancer Dina asked director Hisham Abdul Khaliq to postpone the filming of her new movie “Al Sanah Eli Jaieh” (The Upcoming Year) for at least three months until she passes the depressive state of mind she is in. Dina’s psychological state is at a downfall after her involvement in pornographic films shot by ex-husband, businessman Hussam Abu Al Fatih, without her knowledge while they were married. Dina filed two lawsuits against Hussam for disgracing her and ruining her reputation and name.
According to the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat, director Hisham is trying out all efforts to convince Dina to begin shooting the scenes for the film immediately, saying the work atmosphere will help her come out of the depression she is experiencing. All attempts by the director to convince the dancer failed.
The film, costarring Egyptian actor Mahmoud Humeida and singer Hisham Abbas, who will be making his first cinematic appearance, revolves around a dancer and an actor who struggle to find suitable work opportunities to make their dreams come true.
Late last month, Dina filed a lawsuit against ex-husband Hussam Abu Al Fateh for violating her rights while she was married to him and making pornography films of her without her knowledge. Dina stressed that she intends to take Hussam to court for the fact that it is against the law for a man to film his wife in such an indecent circumstance.
Late last year rumors circulated that Dina had left Cairo-Egypt and ran-off to hide away in Paris-France after her involvement in pornographic videotapes was revealed. A number of videotapes were found in a businessman’s, Hussam Abu Al Fateh, apartment containing obscene and provocative scenes of her. –Albawaba.com
