Egyptian belly dancer Dina has decided to accompany Egyptian singers Hisham Abbas and Ali Hajjar to Saudi Arabia to complete the fifth pillar of Islam Hajj. She decided that Haj is her only option to runaway from all the controversial and scandalous issues she is currently involved in.
According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, Dina feels that through good she will find a way out of all the problems she is facing and will be able to deal with anything thrown at her.
On a different note, Egypt’s Information Minister, Safwat Al Sherif, told the manager of Egyptian television to not broadcast on any of its stations the interview held with Dina on the show “Ala Waraq” (On Paper) with Mahoumd Said. Safwat said that since Dina is currently involved in a trial regarding her scandalous involvement in pornographic videotapes with a businessman, any exposure of her on public TV might affect negatively on the court decision.
The theme of the show was the educated respectable and honorable dancer who was called in to talk about the scandal she was involved in. The daily reported that labeling the dancer as educated and honorable is a complete misconception of what she actually is. How can a dancer who was involved in pornographic films be referred to as respectable? And what motive would there be for such a respectable TV station to want to host such persons? Has the Arab world run out of issues to talk about to want to discuss a dancer’s disgrace? The dancer’s interview was referred to as a complete joke with a devious woman trying to appear innocent in front of viewers.
The dancer’s latest dancing videos featuring a number of performances of Dina without any undergarments is in itself a disgrace. Dina is known for being one of the most provocatively dressed women who attempts to always appear in the least amount of clothing. The daily ended that the dancer represents everything that is against moral standards and should in not be referred to in any positive way.
Dina has recently denied all rumors of her fleeing Egypt and going off to Paris after a scandal was revealed of her involvement in pornographic movies with businessman Hussam Abdul Fatih, whom she was married to in secret and is currently serving a jail sentence for money embezzlement. – Albawaba.com
