Disputes between Ragheb Alama and Fadel Shaker reach court

Khadel Alama, Lebanese singer Ragheb Alama’s brother and his business manager, revealed that he has personally filed a lawsuit against Lebanese singer Fadel Shaker, claiming that he received threats from Fadel and that Fadel had attacked his home after a press conference Ragheb held, in which he referred to some singers as dumpster rats when it comes to politics, according to the daily Dunia al Watan.

Khader stated that Fadel had taken Ragheb’s remarks personally and began calling Ragheb and threatening him leading the later to hang up in his face.

Afterwards Fadel began calling Khader and threatening him leading him to file a lawsuit against Fadel accusing him of harassment and demanding that a restraining order be placed against him.

On his part, Fadel stated that attempts have been made by numerous individuals to make peace between him and Ragheb, but he strongly refused stating that Ragheb and Khader had publicly insulted him and his deceased mother. He added that he filed a lawsuit against the two for making insulting remarks against him and is waiting for the court to make its verdict.
