Tunisian actress Durah Riziq is upset with the management of the ‘New Carthage Cinema Days.’

According to the London daily Elaph, Durah is upset because she was not  invited to attend the festival, although three films which she started in are being screened. “Janinat Al Asmak” (Fish Garden), directed by Yusri Naser Allah, “Heya Fawda” (It’s a Mess), directed by the late Yusif Shaheen, and the Tunisian film (7 Street Al Habib Bo Rqibah), directed by Ibrahim Al Latif.

The Tunisian actress, who is residing in Cairo, said that she was invited to the ‘Cairo Cinema Festival’ even though she was not in any of the films that were screened at the Festival.

Durah Boshosha, the president of the ‘Carthage Cinema Festival,’ said that invitations were sent to those who have leading roles in the films and since Durah Riziq had minor roles she was not invited.
