Lebanese singer Elissa received four different awards at the awards ceremony “Celebrity Awards”, which was organized by director Yousef Khayzaran in the Lebanese capital Beirut.

Elissa was awarded after five thousand Lebanese students from different universities around Lebanon voted for Elissa as the best Arab singer.

The first award was given to Elissa honoring her for winning the prestigious World Music Award for Best Arab Artist for a third time. The second award was for her being the number one Lebanese singer defeating Lebanese singers Nancy Ajram and Yara.

Elissa was also awarded for best female song for her hit “Aabali Habibi” (On my mind my Love). The last award was for having the number one album for the year 2009-2010 defeating her colleagues Najwa Karam and Ragheb Alamah.

On her part, Elissa thanked the organizing committee for the awards ceremony stating that she ran out of room to place all the awards she received. She stressed that she is honored especially since the event was held in her home country.
