It has been revealed that Lebanese singer Fadel Shaker will be participating in the Seventh Annual Doha Festival, marking his fourth time. Fadel is known to be the most Lebanese singer to participate in the festival since its beginning.
According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, Fadel enjoys great popularity in the Gulf countries, and this fame is mostly due to his romantic style. The last time Fadel took part in the festival was two years ago alongside Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zoughbi.
Recently, Fadel took part in the launching of the internationally famous car race Formula One, alongside Lebanese singers Haifa Wahbi and Nancy Ajram as well as UAE singer Hussein Al Jasmi.
During his stay in Dubai, Fadel filmed an episode for the musical program “Dandana” for the Arab satellite television station MBC, which is based in Dubai.
The singer is in the process of finalizing the recording of the songs for his upcoming album scheduled for release in the very near future.
Fadel has chosen a new song over the phone to include in his album.
Composer Waleed Saed, whom Shaker had worked with in the past, called the singer to play him part of a song. Fadel really enjoyed the score and requested to hear it in its entirety.
