Fares Karam cannot be imitated

The Lebanese artist Fares Karam is getting ready to launch his new album in March.  He will then begin several music tours until the spring. He will be performing with the famous Lebanese artist Haifa Wehbe on his American tour.


According to the London daily Elaph, Karam said that the year 2009 was successful.  He released the song “Al Ghorbah” “Being Abroad” as a solo single and it became an instant hit.  


Karam’s song “Al Ghorbah” (Abroad) was surrounded by controversial accusations that he had stolen the song. Karam said that they were only rumors created by those who are jealous of his success.


 Karam talked about how many are trying to imitate his style and that one famous Lebanese artist had tries his style but was unsuccessful, because he said that his style doesn’t suit a female artist. He also said that another artist tried to imitate him by wearing clothes like him and even buying the same car.
 Karam said that he is similar to the artist Elissa, when it comes to their honesty and causal manner.


 As for his relationship with the production company 'Rotana' Single Quotes he said that he does not rely on the company, but instead on himself. He has good relationship with the company and there is mutual respect between him and 'Rotana'.
