The former Egyptian actress Huda Ramzi is reported to be secretly negotiating with the renowned Iraqi singer, Kazem Al Saher, to play a starring role in the musical show film under the heading “Zeedini Ishkan [take me deeper in Love]”.

The movie is named after a popular song by Kazem and the lyrics by the late Syrian poet Nizar Qabbani.

Despite the secrecy, Ramzi confirmed to the press that “there have beene negotiations,” in which a number of stars are taking part to convince the Iraqi singer to accept the role.

Ramzi added that the negotiating team is studying with Saher the screenplay to reach a final form for it and select the type and number of songs that should be included.

She said that the film is a romance: a love story between a young expatriate Arab and an Egyptian girl studying in England.

Meanwhile, Kazem has started his big artistic project “Opera Galgamesh” which is a blend of Eastern opera and Western music. This has been the outcome of a study that Kazem undertook in collaboration with the musician Ibrahim Radio – Albawaba.com
