As a young man, Freddie Prinze Jr. spend spent so much time by himself acting out comic book characters that other kids called him gay, according to the National Enquirer.
I didn't have any brothers or sisters," he explained to an interviewer. "I grew up on a street with all girls and they wanted to play house and I didn't have a dad to play football with or anything like that, so I made up this superhero world that I lived in.
"Kids would see me out there in the field jumping around. And kids can be mean, so they say things like 'you freak, stupid fag!' "
Now get this: All the comic book thing paid off bigtime… not only does Prinze have a great comic book collection worth thousands of dollars, but he is about to make millions in a non-animated version of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? – Albawaba.com.
