Young Egyptian actress Ghada Adel broke her arm while taking Karate lessons as part of her preparation for her role in the upcoming film “Eyal Habeebeh.” Ghada will play the role of a journalist who is on a mission to fight corruption, requiring her to take karate lessons in order to learn self defense.
The film, written by Ahmad Abdullah and directed by Majdi Al Huwari, is scheduled for screening this summer. Actors Mohammad Najani, Mohammad Lutfi, Ramiz Jalal, and Hassan Husni will costar alongside Ghada.
On another note, Ghada’s demand for an increase in her salary has led the producers of the upcoming television drama series “Al Toyoor La Yamlokha Ahad” to end negotiations with her for the leading role. Ghada was nominated for the role due to her strong resemblance to the drama’s protagonist, a beautiful and successful lawyer.
Ghada requested 600 Egyptian pounds for the thirty episodes of the drama, which is outside of the series’ budget; hence, the producers are searching for a replacement.
