The new album, “The Gipsy Man Sings from the Middle East”, is simply an AMAZING album that is destined to be one of the biggest HITS ever for the Arabian region and an International success! It includes a unique blend of Latino and Arabian fused tracks, merging two very similar rich cultures to create an original instrumental sound “The Gipsy/Arabica Sound”. It is a world class production, and it is important to elaborate by giving some background on the A Class team behind the project. Firstly, most of the songs were written by Lebanese Composer and Poet, Albert Hagar.
The album was recorded in LA by Gustavo Farias (Farias Productions) and executively produced by Luis Medina and Albert Hagar, who have both worked with the best in the Latino music business, including Enrique Iglesias, Thalia, Ricky Martin and many more… In addition, musicians who have played the live instruments in this album have also played on Madonna’s previous albums. An A Class team to create an A Class album.
Mario’s new creation is HOT and unique in various ways. This is the first time for a Latino Artist to sing in Arabic depicting Mario’s true multi musical talents. He has collaborated in duets with Arabia’s biggest Superstars (Carol Samaha and Ilham Al Madfai) and future new talents (Qusai and Malika). A musical synergy so perfectly tuned together.
The lead video single “Laily Lail” is an instant Smash Hit featuring Lebanese star Carol Samaha. A collaboration of this kind is experienced for the first time ever. Imagine, two Superstars, sharing their native languages and exchanging their famous sounds to produce a simply breathtaking song. The video was filmed in Marrakech by the sensational Hollywood producer Simon Brand who previously made video’s for some of today’s biggest stars. Airing on Music channels across the region it is creating a new sensation in the music world. The track is nothing less than a spectacular start to the Gipsy Man story.
“Habibi Leh” is the follow up Smash Hit Single featuring the legend and World Music Award winning star from Iraq, Ilham Al Madfai. This track is tainted with delicate emotions, creating an immediate desire from the first note between you and the song. Mario and Ilham have connected to produce an emotive hit that oozes love and passion. It could be compared to a regionally classic song “Tamally Maa’k” by Amr Diab.
Following is “Yo Quiero Mas”, a very cool Reggaton feel tune. Mario let’s loose and jams with the modern Hip Hop underground star from Saudi Arabia, Qusai and the Lebanese female Rapper Malika. Both artists have built credibility within the region with their own music and now featuring on this track with the Mario Reyes will create a new future.
The album has incredible rich crossover content, with all tracks flagged to be potential hits.
