Lebanese singers Nawal Al Zoughbi headed off to Dubai to hold a concert sponsored by LG electronics. A press conference was held for the event and Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi was supposed to attend, but apologized for not being able to make due to her preoccupation with filming episodes for her reality television show “The Ranch.”
According to the London based Elaph, Haifa noted that she will fly in to Dubai in time for the concert, and not sooner. During the press conference, Haifa participated via satellite, a matter that disappointed Nawal, who stated, “If I know it was ok to take part in the press conference via satellite, I would not have bothered to attend!”
Throughout the entire press conference, Nawal avoided looking at the screen that showed Haifa and when the broadcast was over she did not wish her farewell. Wael on the other hand, had no problem with the matter in which Haifa took part in the conference and treated the matter naturally.
Many journalists at the conference criticized Nawal’s reaction and mostly disapproved of her overheard comment to Wael in which she simply said “Any question I don’t like I will pass it on to you.”
The incident, which was also most noticeable by the attendees to the press conference was when photographers were taking photos of Nawal and Wael in front of their advertisement banners, which also included posters of Haifa, and someone had allegedly moved Haifa’s poster aside so as not to be in the pictures.
