Hind Sabri opens film festival in Ramallah

The famous Tunisian actress Hind Sabri traveled to the Palestinian city of Ramallah in the West Bank for the first time with a number of Egyptian actors to participate in the opening of “Al Qasabah” cinema festival.
The film festival will be held October 8th through the 26th.
According to the Jordanian daily Al Rai, Hind’s participation also celebrates Jerusalem as the 2009 Arab cultural capital. Hind plans to visit different Palestinian sites during her stay in Ramallah.
Hind is preparing for her new film called “Asma,” written and directed by Amro Salameh. She also agreed to star in another film called “Make-up,” written by Zuhair Qanoo from Syria. The film may be directed by Ahmad Yusri.
Hind’s last film, “Ibrahim Al Abyad” starred Egyptian actors Ahmad Al Saqa and Mahmoud Abed Al Aziz. The film was written by Abad Abu Al Hasan and directed by Marwan Hamed.
“Al Qasabah” cinema festival features the Egyptian film “Ehki Ya Shahrazad,” which stars famous Egyptian actress Muna Zaki, Mahmoud Hameeda and Hasan Al Radad. The film is directed by Yusri Naser Allah and written by Wahid Hamed.
